Erin is an award-winning health tech reporter at Axios, where she writes about digital health and coauthors the daily Axios Pro Health Tech Deals newsletter. Erin has also written for outlets including STAT, Business Insider, Newsweek, Popular Science, and Scientific American, and had work featured in the New York Times and NPR. In addition to my news reporting, I regularly contribute to science and health publications including handbooks, textbooks, and reference frameworks. Most recently, Erin contributed writing and editing to the Knight Science Journalism at MIT’s "Science Editing Handbook" and the first reference framework to explore the real world benefits and risks of digital health technologies, "Digital Health: Understanding the Benefit-Risk Patient-Provider Framework. "Erin received a master's in health and science reporting from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism in New York, where she spent an extra semester finishing her degree after breaking both wrists in a snowboarding accident. Erin earned her bachelor’s from UC San Diego, graduating summa cum laude with honors.
