Amy Cortese is editorial director for ImpactAlpha, a digital news site and newsletter that covers the impact investing field. She also leads the publication's climate coverage. Previously, she was an editor at Business Week and a longtime contributor to the New York Times. Amy is the author of Locavesting, a book published n 2011 in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis that explored how a small shift in investment towards locally-owned enterprises can reap enormous economic and social benefits for individuals, their communities and the country.
