Jonathan Coslet is a senior partner and chief investment officer of TPG Capital, L.P. He is chairman of the firm's investment committee and private equity management committee, and a member of its holdings management committee. Prior to joining TPG, Coslet worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1991 to 1993 and at Drexel Burnham Lambert from 1987 to 1989, where he specialized in leveraged acquisitions. He currently serves on the board of Biomet, Petco Animal Supplies and Quintiles Transnational. He also sits on the board of directors of the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, the advisory board for the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, and the advisory council of the Hamilton Project. Previously, he served on the Harvard Business School's board of dean's advisors and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's economic advisory council. Coslet received his B.S.E. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
