David Breach is the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vista Equity Partners (Vista), a leading global investment firm that specializes in enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled companies. As the President and COO, David advises on Vista’s investment strategies, aids in evolving the governance of the firm, oversees the firm’s talent acquisition and retention strategies, and implements strategic initiatives, as well as DEI & ESG efforts, among other responsibilities. He also sits on Vista’s Executive Committee, as well as the firm’s Private Equity Management and Private Equity Funds’ Investment Committees, and serves on the boards of a number of Vista portfolio companies. As a thought leader in the legal and investment communities, David has been a guest on several investment-focused podcasts and interviews, including Finding Your Synchronous Fit and Investment Magazine’s Market Narratives. David received his bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Michigan University and graduated with his J.D. from the University of Michigan as a member of the Order of the Coif. He continues to be active in the University community, establishing both the David A. and Emily A. Breach Law School Scholarship Fund and David A. Breach Deanship.
