Daphne Kis is the CEO of WorldQuant University (WQU), a not-for-profit advancing global education. WQU’s first initiative is an instructor-guided, tuition-free Master’s degree program in Financial Engineering. Helping bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, WQU currently serves nearly 1800 student in over 80 countries with its fully online program. The arc of Kis’s career has been far from traditional and as a passionate entrepreneur, she has been at the forefront of identifying, chronicling, and transforming trends in technology, health, education, and business for decades. Passionate about global entrepreneurship opportunities, especially for women, Kis serves on the board of Springboard Enterprise’s Tech Council and of the German Accelerator, a government-funded initiative that brings innovative technologies to the U.S. She also serves on the national board of Young Audiences Arts for Learning, a 30+ chapter affiliate network helping children apply the arts to advance learning skills. With the help of over 4500 teaching artists, Young Audiences serves over five million children around the country.
