Seth Bannon is a Founding Partner at Fifty Years, a San Francisco based early stage venture capital firm that backs entrepreneurs solving the world's biggest problems with deep technology. Seth has invested in over 50 startups shaping the world for the better -- from a company engineering enzymes to produce industrial chemicals sustainably (Solugen), to a company building small satellites to cover the earth in internet (Astranis), to a company culturing meat to eat (Memphis Meats). Seth is also the co-founder of impact.tech, a community of entrepreneurs combining purpose with profit, and the founder of Amicus, a startup that builds digital organizing tools for nonprofits and political campaigns. A graduate of Y Combinator, Seth was named twice to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Social Entrepreneurship. A former member of the Harvard Chess Team, Seth can occasionally be found in New York City's Union Square Park attempting to hustle the chess hustlers.
