Maddie Musselman Woepse, President of The Patrick Woepse Foundation, is a proud widow, believer, and professional athlete. After being widowed at 27, Maddie started her nonprofit with hope to honor her husband's life and advocate for NUT Carcinoma awareness and rare cancer research. As one of the co-founders of the NUT Carcinoma Alliance, she also helps bring together experts and patients fighting NUT Carcinoma. Maddie is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time Olympian for the USA Women’s Water Polo Team, and currently is pursuing a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies. As she shares her story worldwide, Maddie hopes to carry her husband's legacy forward and inspire the future of healthcare.
