LUPITA NYONG'O is an Academy Award®-winning actress, producer and New York Times bestselling author known for her powerful and dynamic work in Marvel’s BLACK PANTHER franchise, Jordan Peele’s US and for her feature debut in Steve McQueen’s Best Picture Oscar winner, 12 YEARS A SLAVE, for which she received the Oscar, SAG Award, Critics’ Choice Award, Spirit Award and NAACP Image Award for supporting actress.

Up next, Nyong’o will co-star in Christopher Nolan's THE ODYSSEY, an adaptation of the eponymous epic poem by Homer. The film is set to release in theaters July 17, 2026.

Nyong’o recently partnered with Foundation for Women’s Health to fund a research grant to accelerate the development of non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids, a debilitating and often overlooked disease.
