Jessie Fahrbach

Senior Vice President, Global Medical Affairs - Neuroscience

Jessie Fahrbach, M.D., is the senior vice president, Lilly Neuroscience, global medical affairs for Eli Lilly and Company. 

In this role, Jessie leads US and global medical affairs activities, including Lilly’s launched products and Phase 3 portfolio in pain, migraine and neurodegeneration.

Since joining Lilly in 2004, Jessie has held a variety of roles in drug development and global medical affairs, including medical director for the Trulicity development program during the submission and approval. Subsequently, she led the diabetes North American regulatory group responsible for working with both FDA and Health Canada to ensure adequate registration programs, submissions and approvals for new drugs and supplemental indications within diabetes drug development. Jessie then served as the global brand development leader role on tirzepatide before transitioning to global medical affairs in Oncology. She was nominated by Women Leaders in Oncology as one of 2020’s top woman leaders. 

Jessie completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University as an OB/GYN resident physician in Indianapolis. Jessie earned her bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College followed by her medical doctorate degree from the Northwestern University.
