Angie Bricco is the Head of Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy for Sanofi US General Medicines.

She has been an advocate working to address unmet patient needs, developing and facilitating access to innovation, informing healthcare policy and empowering patients and key stakeholders to improve public health for over 3 decades. 

For 25 years, Bricco worked exclusively in vaccination where she helped bring the first meningococcal conjugate vaccines to market after parents who lost their children in college to this devastating disease came to her asking for a solution. She, key stakeholders, and Sanofi committed to the mutual goal to create a vaccine and policy for routine vaccination. 

She now leads a team of advocates working to change the paradigm of type 1 diabetes care through early detection and intervention, improving trust in organ donation, and improving access to life-saving transplant for all.
