Yvonne Sprow is SVP, Global Communications for Novavax where she leads the team responsible for product, corporate, science and internal communications. In this role, she is focused on raising awareness about the need for COVID-19 vaccination, driving education about Novavax’s protein-based technology, and supporting the company’s efforts as a vaccines leader. With over two decades of experience in the healthcare space, she has worked in both agency and in-house roles across a variety of disease areas. Previously, Yvonne served as Head of US Oncology Corporate Affairs at AstraZeneca, supporting six therapeutic areas in the cancer space and in the healthcare practice at Burson-Marsteller where she supported global product authorizations, developed public-private partnerships to advance critical healthcare issues, and developed consumer-facing public health campaigns. She received her undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey and her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
