Nate Blaylock

Nate Blaylock is a leader in AI, machine learning, speech, and NLP space. He is currently the chief technology officer at Canary Speech, where he leads the research and engineering teams in building vocal biomarker solutions. Prior to joining Canary Speech, Nate was senior manager and architect at Nuance Communications and Cerence, leading teams in creating and delivering NLU models across 26 languages for voice assistants for 20+ major customers in the automotive and TV sectors. Nate is the author of over 30 refereed publications in the field. He received his MS and PhD in computer science from the University of Rochester and holds a BS in computer science and BA in linguistics from Brigham Young University.
