Jared Watkin

Jared Watkin is the Senior Vice President of Abbott’s Diabetes Care business. A scientist by training, he previously led the research and development of the organization's revolutionary FreeStyle Libre continuous glucose monitoring technology, currently used by more than 5 million people across more than 60 countries. He is inspired and motivated by creating the future of diabetes care with next-generation technologies and digital health tools that are accurate, affordable, and accessible to continue transforming how people manage their diabetes and achieve better health outcomes.
