Marcus Wilson is President of HealthCore, Anthem's Research and Evidence Development business. For decades, he has been involved in efforts to accelerate healthcare evidence development, innovation and to facilitate clinical decision support by effectively integrating real-world data from multiple sources to create a complete view of the individual's experience within the healthcare system and to utilize this view and the surrounding real-world data environments to generate more relevant and timely insight. Among a number of leadership positions, Dr Wilson serves as chair of the Innovations in Medical Evidence Development (IMEDS) Steering Committee, Reagan-Udall Foundation; member of the FDA Sentinel Initiative Planning Board and Board of Directors for the Center for Medical Technology Policy. Dr. Wilson is a past member of a number boards and committees including the Planning Committee for the National Academy of Medicine's Real-World Evidence Workshop Series stemming from the 21st Century Cures legislation. Dr Wilson received his BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and his PharmD degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
