Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, is the Founder and Chief Mission Officer of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Faculty Co-Chair of the Harvard Business School-Kraft Precision Medicine Accelerator. Kathy has more than two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, previously holding senior positions at G.D. Searle and Merck. Kathy's leadership in developing innovative business models to drive advances in precision medicine, data sharing, and patient engagement has earned her numerous recognitions, including being named one of the world's 50 Greatest Leaders by Fortune magazine and one of the world's 100 Most Influential People by TIME magazine. Kathy's efforts have been featured on CNN, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News and in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, and The New Yorker. Kathy serves on the advisory boards of Verily and Project Baseline. She is a member of the HBS Health Advisory Board and FasterCures' Non-Profit Council.
