Jessica Leifer is a Vice President at ideas42, where she leads projects applying behavioral science insights to address challenges in health and health care. Her recent work includes using behavioral insights and approaches to advance lifestyle changes for people at high-risk for type 2 diabetes and who are living with obesity, improve treatment of opioid use disorder, decrease physician burnout, and increase vaccination rates. Prior to joining ideas42, Jess was a fellow at the Centre for Impact Investing in Toronto and worked for Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City. Jess holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Psychology (with honors) from the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn she researched grit, positivity, and resilience with Dr. Angela Duckworth.
