Wale Ayeni

Wale Ayeni is Managing Partner of Helios Digital Ventures, has over 20 years of global technology experience spanning several roles including venture capital, entrepreneurship, tech investment banking, microprocessor chip design, and product development. He focuses on investing in category changing tech companies that impact lives in frontier markets, particularly in Africa. 

Wale has an MBA from Dartmouth College, a MSc from University of Maryland, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering with distinguished “Red diploma” from Moscow University in Russia. He is a Kauffman Venture Capital Fellow, a recipient of the top global 100 Rising Stars award in Corporate Venture. He sits on the Dartmouth Tuck EMEA Executive Council and sat on advisory boards of several venture funds in Africa.
