Lynette Bell

President and Head of Philanthropy, Truist Foundation

Lynette Bell is Head of Philanthropy, and President of Truist Foundation, where she leads strategic philanthropic investments that strengthen communities nationwide, with a focus on fostering economic mobility through small businesses and career pathways. Under her leadership, the organization launched Where It Starts—a $22 million multiyear initiative creating long-term opportunities for entrepreneurs and job seekers—and the Truist Foundation Inspire Awards, which celebrate innovative nonprofits using bold technology.

Previously, Bell served as enterprise Community Reinvestment Act officer for Truist predecessor SunTrust, where she led the bank’s community development program for underserved communities. With more than three decades in financial services, her leadership has earned wide recognition, including the ACCP Trailblazer Purpose Award, the Spirit of Philanthropy Award from Usher’s New Look, and distinction as a Woman of Influence by Atlanta Business Chronicle.

She serves on the boards of Connect Humanity, Living Cities Foundation, and Purpose Built Communities, and holds a BA in Finance from Florida State University.
