Kate Laurence

Kate Laurence is the CEO, Founder & General Partner of Bloccelerate VC , a Web3 focused venture fund investing in category-defining blockchain companies. Since 2018, Kate grew the firm from $1M AUM to $85M+ today. Kate leads the strategy and investment for the $100M Bloccelerate fund. She is passionate about bringing self-sovereignty of money, assets, and data into the world. Prior to founding Bloccelerate, Kate spent ~ 10 years as the investment director at the world’s largest technology research firm, Gartner (NYSE: IT). While at Gartner, Kate supported leading investors in Silicon Valley including A16Z, Sequoia, and KKR around their enterprise technology investments. Kate graduated from Harvard University and is regularly featured on Bloomberg, Forbes, Geekwire, and at the World Economic Forum in Davos. She is also a part of Milken YLC (Milken Leadership Circle).
