Kanika Singh is director of innovative finance at the Milken Institute. She is responsible for executing the Institute's signature research projects, the Financial Innovations Labs, with a specific focus on the market failures and financing gaps in climate solutions. She has worked in New York’s hedge fund industry, where she led macro-economic investments in emerging markets by employing a cross-sectoral and global strategy to identify investment opportunities. She also served as the lead economist at international financial institutions in London and Singapore, collaborating with clients that included investment banks, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. She holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics.
