Jonathan Brereton

Jonathan Brereton is the CEO of Scale Link, an organization he co-founded in 2020. He has more than two decades of leadership experience in the CDFI small business lending sector. Jonathan was the first Executive Director of Thread Capital, a CDFI he led to greater than $50M in small business assets under management over its first five years. Prior to his work with Scale Link and Thread Capital, Jonathan led Accion Chicago (now Allies for Community Business) for 14 years. He lives in NC with his wife, two daughters, and a somewhat annoying dog.
