Ye Zhang is the Founder of Cyanhill Capital, with a long-standing focus on early-stage consumer investing.

As the firm’s driving force, he combines financial rigor with a humanistic perspective, pioneering an “aesthetic-driven” investment methodology in the consumer sector. With a forward-looking view on evolving consumer trends, he has led Cyanhill to become one of the most distinctive investment firms in the space.

He has backed nearly 100 high-quality consumer companies, including ZhuanZhuan, CHOCDAY, REFlower, pidan, Even Realities, LEMMO E-Bike, TasteMatters, ChaLatte, Prof Slow, and Simplus—maintaining an exceptional track record and earning broad industry recognition.

Ye holds an MBA from Cornell University, a Master’s degree from PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University, and a Master’s degree in Composition from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. This interdisciplinary background informs his investment philosophy—“grounded in data, elevated by aesthetics”—enabling him to identify and support brands that define the next generation of lifestyles.
