Vincent Joli-Coeur joined National Bank of Canada (NBC) in 2011 and serves as Chairman, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Mr. Joli-Coeur is responsible for the senior coverage of selected corporate, government and institutional clients globally. Mr. Joli-Coeur is actively involved in the Asia Pacific region with Canadian and Asian clients.
Mr. Joli-Coeur also spearheads National Bank of Canada’s coverage of key Canadian and Asian family-controlled firms and co-authored the Family Advantage series of reports highlighting the sustainable outperformance of Canada’s leading family-controlled companies (National Bank Capital Markets) and their unique role in bridging Canada with Asia.
Mr. Joli-Coeur is involved in his community, both in Canada and Hong Kong. In Canada, he served as Chair of the Board of University of Sherbrooke, Chair of the Board of the University of Sherbrooke Foundation where he led the C$250 million Choisir de changer l’avenir campaign, the largest in the University’s history, and Chair of the Brome Lake Land Foundation. In Hong Kong, he currently serves as a current member of the Asia Business Leaders Advisory Council (ABLAC). He was recently designated Phoenix Friendship Ambassador in China.
Mr. Joli-Coeur is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a graduate of the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program. He has been awarded a Masters in Business Administration from Université Paris Dauphine in France.
