Chery Kang

Chery Kang is a journalist and anchor based in Hong Kong. She was co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box Asia and covered Asia-Pacific markets, policy, and corporate news across CNBC programming. She has moderated conversations on private markets, private credit, and regional capital flows at the Milken Institute Asia Summit and Global Investors’ Symposium. She holds an MS in Global Finance from HKUST and NYU Stern and a BA in International Studies from Ewha Womans University. She is fluent in English and Korean.
