Carlos Obeid

As Mubadala's Chief Financial Officer, Carlos Obeid co-leads the Group Strategy, Finance and Risk platform overseeing Business Finance, including Treasury and investor Relations, Portfolio Performance and Analytics and Investment Operations and Reporting, as well as Portfolio Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management and Responsible Investing. The integrated platform strengthens management of Mubadala’s portfolio and enables the business to unlock value.

Before joining Mubadala, Carlos worked with the UAE Offset Program Bureau where he led a wide range of initiatives including privatization, utilities and financial services.

Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Board Positions: Board member of Mubadala Capital, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC, and Abu Dhabi Investment Council.
