
Zonibel Woods is a Senior Social Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, where she works on gender equality, climate change, and extreme heat resilience across Asia and the Pacific. She has more than 30 years of experience advancing gender equality globally, having worked with NGOs, UN agencies, and philanthropic organizations. At ADB, she has been pioneering approaches to strengthen women’s resilience to climate impacts, including gender-responsive heat action planning and innovative financing solutions such as parametric insurance. Zonibel has written extensively on gender, climate change, and women’s health, producing reports, policy briefs, and knowledge products that have informed national and regional strategies. In addition to her professional commitments, she dedicates her spare time to animal welfare and rescue.
