
Young is a Partner and Co-President of Audax Private Equity, based in Boston, where he helps oversee the strategic direction and operations of the firm. Prior to joining Audax in 2000, Young was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. and J.P. Morgan. Additionally, Young is a member of the Trustee Advisory Board at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; the Chartis Health Equity Advisory Board that works with leading healthcare organizations to achieve measurable health equity outcomes; and the Advisory Board for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. Young is also actively involved with Harvard University, currently serving as a member of the Harvard College Fund Executive Committee, as well as the Joint Committee on Alumni Affairs and Development. Young received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. cum laude from Harvard College.
