Dr. Lohendran Baskaran (Logen) is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) and Director of the Cardiovascular Systems Imaging and Artificial Intelligence (CVS.AI) lab, Southeast Asia’s first cardiac imaging AI research lab. He is also the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Global Pretest Probability Study of Coronary Artery Disease (GPS-CAD), a worldwide study of over 60,000 patients that explores how race, ethnicity, and country influence coronary artery disease (CAD) presentation and risk. A strong advocate for integrating AI into cardiovascular care, Dr Baskaran has fostered global collaborations and published widely, with the goal of leveraging AI to advance diagnostics and improve patient outcomes.
