
Kirk Wagar served as U.S. Ambassador to Singapore from 2013 to 2017, working with the more than 4,000 American companies based there to address business challenges across Asia and driving foreign direct investment into the United States. He is the founder of Worldview Advisory, a global geopolitical, strategic communications, and capital advisory firm. Drawing on decades at the intersection of policy and business, he helps clients—from Fortune 500 companies to sovereign wealth funds—navigate complex issues across global markets. Ambassador Wagar has been active in Democratic politics for more than three decades. He served as President Obama’s Florida Finance Chairman from 2007 through 2012 and as Florida Finance Chair for Senator John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. He takes pride in helping make President Obama the first Democrat since Franklin Roosevelt to win Florida twice. Before his diplomatic service, he founded Wagar Law, P.A., a commercial litigation firm, and served on the boards of national and local justice associations. He was also appointed to the Export-Import Bank’s Advisory and Sub-Saharan Africa Committees. He previously served as a Distinguished Fellow of the Atlantic Council’s Asia Security Initiative and on boards including Gems World Academy Singapore, XCL Education, and the East-West Center. He is currently a member of the Investment Committee of MUSEL, a Singapore-based private REIT. Widely recognized for aligning public policy with commercial goals, he has advised Tesla, TikTok, Binance, and leading global funds.
