Mr. Kobayashi currently serves as Chief Stakeholder Engagement Office (CSEO) of Mitsubishi Corporation that is responsible for Sustainability, PR, IR/SR, concurretly is in charge of Capital Allinace with Financial Investors. Mr. Kobayashi joined Mitsubishi in 1991. His career spans more than 25 years in leadership positions, especially in the firm’s financial services and investments businesses in Tokyo, New York, Stamford and London. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Kobayashi was Division COO of Asset Finance from 2000 to 2023. Prior to this, he was a member of investment committee of Mitsubishi Corp from 2018 to 2000, General Manager of Industrial Finance Group from 2014 to 2018, Chief Operating Officer of MC Asset Management Holdings, LLC located in Stamford CT USA from 2012-2014, the Deputy General Manager, Corporate Planning at MC headquarters in Tokyo Japan from 2009-2011, working directly in the Office of the CEO. Mr. Kobayashi received a B.A. from Hitotsubashi University in Japan.
