Geetali leads IFC’s equity investments in early to growth stage technology businesses as well as VC Funds across emerging markets in Asia. She also represents IFC on the boards and LP advisory committees of these companies and funds. Prior to joining IFC, Geetali spent 15 years as an investment professional with leading private equity and venture capital funds including Actis Capital, Leapfrog Investments, DEG (German DFI) and Bamboo Capital Partners. She was primarily focused on early and growth stage investments in consumer, technology, financial services and healthcare sectors. She began her career in investment banking at Citigroup. Geetali holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore (Dean’s List) and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mumbai (Honors).
