
Deborah is a founding partner of The Raine Group, an integrated merchant bank advising and investing in the high growth sectors of technology, media and telecom. The firm has 9 global offices, circa $3.4bn of assets under management, and has advised on over $500bn in transactions since inception. Deborah heads Raine’s Asia practice based out of Singapore and sits on the global investment committee. Deborah is active across all of Raine’s businesses. She works closely with Asian as well as global entertainment, music, video gaming, sports and technology companies, from earlier-stage to conglomerate, as an advisor as well as investor. While at Raine she has advised companies including SpinX, Moonton, Universal, Warner Bros, IMAX, PPTV, and Softbank and invested in Focus Media. Deborah joined Raine from Morgan Stanley where she was a Managing Director in Hong Kong, heading Asia-Pacific Consumer, Retail, Gaming, and Industrial Investment Banking. She holds a B.A. from Cornell and an M.A. and M.B.A. from the Joseph H. Lauder Institute and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
