Asilah Azil

Partner and Co-Managing Partner of Singapore, McKinsey & Company

Asilah Azil serves as the Co-Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company’s Singapore Office. She is a trusted advisor to CXOs across leading financial and investment institutions —partnering with them to unlock strategic growth, lead enterprise-wide transformation, and navigate structural complexity. With a proven track record across Asia and the Americas, she brings deep expertise in helping global and regional institutions shape bold visions, build high-performing businesses, and future-proof their operating models for long-term outcomes. Examples of Asilah’s recent client work include developing a net-zero transition strategy for a major Asian financial institution, anchored in a robust emissions baseline, scenario-driven pathways, and actionable targets, as well as architecting a digital-first retail banking strategy for a regional bank, translating consumer insights into tangible upgrades in branch formats, product offerings, and customer journeys. She also founded and curated McKinsey’s “Shapers of Sustainability” series, a global knowledge platform co-created with leaders from top banks, philanthropic institutions, and real economy players to elevate climate leadership and action. Outside of work, Asilah cherishes time with her husband and two children — often exploring the outdoors, where she finds renewal and inspiration.
