Businesswoman, mentor and philanthropist: Noni Purnomo is adept at juggling many hats and playing many roles. The President Commissioner/Chairperson of Blue Bird Group Holding started her career on the technical staff at Blue Bird Group. She subsequently gained in-depth knowledge in various areas of the company, leading to her appointment as the President Director of Blue Bird Group Holding (PT PCD). She was elected to serve as President Director and CEO of PT Blue Bird Tbk in mid-2019, a tenure distinguished by Blue Bird Group’s historic launch of the first e-taxi in Indonesia. It continued the firm’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and upholding environmental sustainability. Noni spearheaded the company’s socially oriented and philanthropic endeavors for a new era. Make Jakarta’s Sky Blue, One Ride One Seed and Blue Bird Peduli, an innovative program for women’s empowerment, were all founded under her leadership. The mother of three daughters is the co-founder of a host of Angel Investment Companies and mentor to several start-up companies. She has been awarded numerous honors for her business acumen and philanthropic and community-oriented activities. She was named to the “Most Powerful Women of 2023” by Forbes Indonesia. The previous year, she was selected Women Entrepreneur of the Year in The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES). Notable recent appointments include to the Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific Council to assist in achieving its conservation goals; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia, Indonesia’s most prestigious institution of higher learning; the Board of Trustees of Clean Air Asia, and Independent Commissioner of PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk. She is a member of Temasek SouthEast Asia Advisory Panel and former chairperson of YPO Indonesia Gold Chapter.
