Mina Hamoodi is a seasoned investment professional with a particular focus on healthcare and over 15 years of experience spanning the development of greenfield healthcare projects, joint ventures, direct public and private equity investments. Mina is the Head of Healthcare within Mubadala’s Direct Investments platform. She is responsible for the fund’s international healthcare investments across subsectors including pharma and pharma services, healthcare technology, medtech, life sciences tools and diagnostics, and healthcare provision and services. Throughout her career at Mubadala Investment Company, Mina has had varied experiences encompassing operational and investment roles. She previously served as the CEO of Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre, a joint venture in partnership with Medgate AG, and supported the development of other transformational UAE healthcare projects including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of Envision Pharma Group; a leading tech-enabled medical affairs and commercialization services business, Rodenstock GmBH; a global leader in premium personalized lens manufacturing, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where she also chairs the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Prior to her career at Mubadala, Mina worked with the Crown Prince Court - Office of Strategic Affairs on various strategic priorities for the UAE. Mina holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Operations from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
