Head of Sustainability, GIC

Emily Chew is Head of Sustainability at GIC. She leads the Sustainability Office in deepening GIC’s capabilities in sustainability-related research, analyzing fast-evolving themes, and examining their implications for investment. She is also responsible for championing enhancements to the investment processes across the enterprise. Emily joined GIC in 2024. Prior to joining GIC, she worked at Morgan Stanley as their Executive Vice President for Calvert Research & Management, a role she assumed after operating as the inaugural Global Head of Sustainability for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to that, she served as Global Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Research & Integration at Manulife Investment Management.
