Angela is the Founder and Executive Director of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (LatAmCham). She is an expert in economic diplomacy fostering business and investment relations between Latin America and Southeast Asia, using Singapore as a hub to access the region. She is also Responsible for the Singapore International desk of the Brazilian National Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock, an association that groups over 5 million farmers of all sizes. Prior to founding LatAmCham, Angela worked in several banks as a lawyer advising credit derivatives. Her experience in banking started in Cofinsura, today Bancolombia (Colombia), Société Générale (Paris), Nordea Bank (Denmark, Singapore). Angela has a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellin Colombia, a Masters in Business Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and a Masters in Financial Law from University Paris XI in conjunction with ESCP Paris.
