Kenichi Ota

Ken Ota serves as CIO of the Mitsui & Co. Pension Fund, a position he was appointed to in 2014. Prior to this role, he held the position of Head of Trading Department, amassing nearly 20 years of experience in currency, fixed income, equity, and derivatives trading at both Mitsui's Tokyo HQ and London office. Following his tenure in trading, he took on the responsibilities of CFO at Mitsui & Co. Australia and Auditor for several Mitsui subsidiaries. Before joining Mitsui Pension Fund, he worked as a portfolio manager at an investment company affiliated with Mitsui.
