John is the Asia Director of AgFunder, leading strategy, investment, and fundraising activities across the region for one of the world's leading agrifoodtech VC firms. He also serves as a director of Singapore-based GROW Accelerator, an ecosystem catalyst backed by Enterprise Singapore to advance innovation and resilience across the regional food system. Prior to joining AgFunder, John spent over a decade in investment banking in Southeast Asia focused on emerging market opportunities, and is an advocate for a more impact-aligned approach to capital allocation. In addition to his roles at AgFunder, John is an angel investor in several ventures ranging from precision farming to alternative proteins. Originally from Hawaii, John studied in the UK, and is a graduate of Cornell University. He now lives in Singapore with his wife and children. He is a Singaporean citizen.
