Fernanda Lopes Larsen Executive Vice President, Africa & Asia Yara InternationalFernanda Lopes Larsen has more than 20 years of international business experience in the agrochemicals, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and pharmaceutical sectors. She is Executive Vice President (EVP) of Yara’s Africa & Asia operations, employing 2,000 staff in 21 market economies, with an annual revenue of USD 3.2 billion. At Yara, Fernanda works towards actively contributing to food security in Africa and Asia by helping partner stakeholders – particularly smallholder farmers – improve crop nutrition and maximize yields in an environmentally-sustainable manner. This includes promoting the use of cutting-edge digital farming technologies and unlocking barriers to market access.Passionate about driving equity and inclusion in business and society, Fernanda spearheads several DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) change initiatives at Yara, including the Black Talent Initiative. She also serves as a key sponsor for the company’s Women in Agronomy program, which encourages female and ethnic minority talent and participation in technical and leadership roles at Yara and across the global agricultural sector.Originally from Brazil, holding dual Brazilian and British citizenships, and based in Singapore, Fernanda is fluent in English, German, and Portuguese.
