Daichi Hirose currently serves as a Partner at SDG Impact Japan. The company specializes in sustainable finance where he is involved in Agri-Food Tech VC, Decarbonization fund, and others. He has served in the management role at a Japanese start-up in circular economy. The company eventually made an IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. During that time, he has created several businesses in the ASEAN region and established multi-million revenue businesses around micro-financing/leasing/insurance and education. Before that, he worked for PlaNet Finance, a French NGO founded by the French economist, Jacques Attali while serving as a capitalist at BASF Venture Capital, the CVC arm of a German chemical company. He has started his career at Strategic Value Partners, the US-based hedge fund.
