Anindya Novyan Bakrie is an Indonesian business magnate, global investor and prominent philanthropist. Through his business community leadership roles over the years, he represents Indonesia and Indo-Pacific business community voices in global fora and summits. He is the CEO of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR), an Indonesian listed conglomerate with diversified business in industrialization and manufacturing, and one of the largest and oldest business groups in Indonesia with 12 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a combined market capitalization of over US$15 billion. He recently led a successful IPO of Indonesia’s first EV heavy mobility company, VKTR, and is on a strong trajectory to pivot Bakrie Group towards sustainable and digital businesses. He serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and the Chairman of APEC Business Advisory Council Indonesia. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Indonesian Aquatics Federation and the board of directors at Oxford United Football Club. He is a prominent philanthropist focusing on people, planet and prosperity through Bakrie Centre Foundation. He graduated from Northwestern University as an industrial engineer and earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
