The eighth Milken Institute Asia Summit was a hybrid virtual and in-person event that gathered global leaders to amplify ideas and create more equitable, inclusive societies. For humanity to rebound stronger in the years ahead, leaders must advance collaborative and concerted efforts to bring together information, human capital, and financial resources needed for people to remain healthy, safe, active, and employed in this new era. The global spread of the pandemic undid years of social and economic progress and laid bare structural inequalities that left many without access to health services, digital tools, employment, and education. Through this platform, we sought to reimagine the solutions to rebuild and strengthen the fabric of society and accelerate the transformations that will sustain more equitable and inclusive societies for everyone.
