Pier Luigi Sigismondi is the president of the Dole Sunshine Company and has been in that role since February 2019. Before that, he served as president for Southeast Asia and Australasia at Unilever. That is a role he held from 2016 to 2019. Before that, he was chief supply chain officer based in London. At Dole, Pier Luigi has focused on corporate social responsibility initiatives that revolve around the company’s purpose. The Sunshine for All initiative is the rallying cry for Dole Packaged Foods as they seek to eliminate food insecurity globally. At Unilever, Pier Luigi Sigismondi was responsible for the total performance for the Southeast Asia and Australasia regions. He was in charge of delivering on Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan for driving long-term business value in his regions. Pier Luigi has a Master of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which he received in 1990. He is currently based in Singapore.
