Benjamin leads the investment operations of Prudential, responsible for developing the company's investment strategy and asset allocation. Under Benjamin's leadership, the investments team works with fund management partners to set performance benchmarks, manage fund managers, develop a new investment culture at Prudential and offer business support and advice to product management teams and distribution channels on investment‐related matters. Holding a qualification of Chartered Financial Analyst, Benjamin has over 20 years of experience in institutional investment including senior executive roles at a number of international financial institutions including Ping An of China, Caxton LLC, HSBC and ABN Amro. Before joining Prudential, Benjamin was Chief Investment Officer for Hong Kong‐based Caravel Asset Management, where he was responsible for setting up the institutional investment platform which was focused on managing a global absolute return strategy and implementing all systems, controls and analyst functions.
