Ron Schachter is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Nine Masts Capital Management, overseeing the firm's investments across the fund's strategies. With a remit covering Pan Asian public markets, Nine Masts focuses on relative value strategies in credit, equity and derivatives. Prior to founding Nine Masts, Ron spent a decade in corporate finance where he has investing and portfolio management experience from global institutions in New York, London, and Hong Kong. During this time, Mr Schachter was a trader at Saba Principal Strategies at Deutsche Bank, a member of the Special Situations Group at Bank of America Securities, and an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Bear Stearns. Mr Schachter holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.
