Part 1: AI: A Multiplier or a Divider?

-

Artificial intelligence can be a force multiplier for economies around the globe—by some estimates adding the equivalent of $4.4 trillion in value annually across many sectors, including financial services, education, and professional services. At the same time, there is concern that through its power of automation and augmentation, AI will disrupt, displace, and reshape the workforce as we know it. There are dividing lines shaping the debate about how AI should be applied, controlled, consumed, and governed. We will discuss how AI is making humanity more productive, as well as the larger issues coming to the forefront as we embrace and integrate this new technology.
