As Mexico advances an ambitious agenda centered on industrial growth, nearshoring, and economic competitiveness, water security has emerged as one of the country's most pressing challenges. Increasing demand from manufacturing, agriculture, urban centers, and emerging industries is placing unprecedented pressure on water resources and infrastructure, requiring significant investment in treatment, reuse, distribution, storage, and watershed resilience. Yet public resources alone are insufficient to meet the scale of the need.
