Jake Zeller is the founder of Powerset, a seed-stage venture capital firm. The firm leverages a distributed approach, tapping a network of top technical founders to build a high-quality seed portfolio at scale. Prior to founding Powerset, Jake was a Partner at both AngelList and Spearhead. He is known for launching AngelList’s online venture funds product, which supports billions of AUM and drives a meaningful portion of all solo GP formation in the United States. Jake is an early angel investor in numerous companies valued over $1B, including Mercury and Talkdesk, amongst others. He majored in Physics at Stanford University and graduated with distinction.
