Maurice Gravier is Group Chief Investment Officer, Wealth Management since 2018 for Emirates NBD, a leading financial services group in the MENAT region. Emirates NBD Group employs more than 30,000 people, has operations in the UAE, India, Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the UK, Austria, Russia and Bahrain, and representative offices in China and Indonesia. As CIO since 2018, Maurice oversees investment strategy, processes and policy for the Group. The CIO Office operates in a global investment universe, across public and private markets, traditional and alternative asset classes, with a team of highly experienced professionals.
Maurice has over 25 years of investment experience across asset and wealth management, with roots in institutional equity and global asset allocation. His investment career began with Paris based Natixis Asset Management in 1998, where he became active equity CIO in 2007. He moved to Wealth Management in 2010, joining Lombard Odier in Geneva, Switzerland, as a member of the bank’s Investment Committee and specifically leading equity management and strategy. He then moved to Dubai in 2017, initially joining the Executive Committee of a prominent family office, before taking his current role.
A French national, Maurice graduated from ESCP Europe business school in 1995. He is a LinkedIn “Top Voice” and a regular host of financial TV channels.
